About the event
Sir Thomas Munro, once a governor of Madras, has been watching over the city grow, change, sink, and burn for over 250 years from his vantage point as a statue. He's been in the company of his horse, Sebastian. When the city drowns in a "once-in-a-100-year" flood yet again, the statue is met by a visitor, a migratory bird from the Western Ghats who's looking for her heaven in the east. The play follows the statue as they help the bird find her home in the city while navigating between the past and the present, and likely futures, in a deeply segregate, climate vulnerable city.
